The massive outpouring of love during the funeral of former President Corazon "Tita Cory" C. Aquino, reminiscent of EDSA I, only proves the Filipino knows a hero from a villain when he sees one.
Very noticeable was the generous support and attention provided by the military, the only armed organization that proved to be the decisive factor in EDSA II that catapulted Ms. Arroyo to the presidency. The question is will this same multitude turn into a lynching mob that will hang a leader who, for obvious selfish interest, will tinker with the very Constitution that Tita Cory fought to uphold and protect? I dare not speculate on the answer should one particular scheming politician make a go for it.
